All of the award winning foods will be served in the Tasting Pavilion on a rotation over the three day event, offering guests a unique pairing experience each day

Some of Sonoma County’s best and brightest food artisans participate in the Harvest Fair’s Professional Food Competition. Professional chefs, caterers and bakers bring unique culinary creations to be sniffed, tasted and finally critiqued in a blind judging by industry experts to determine which dishes and products are the best of the best. The Sonoma County Harvest Fair uses a Danish system of judging, which considers each item individually. If judges deem necessary, multiple gold medals may be awarded per category. Entries can be awarded Best of Show, double gold medals, gold medals, silver rosettes or bronze rosettes.

The epicenter of the Harvest Fair is still the Tasting Pavilion, featuring innovative cuisine paired with some of the area’s best wine, beer and cider. With over 100 Sonoma County wineries participating (with over 300 wines), even the most experienced connoisseur is sure to find a new favorite. The Grand Harvest Tasting ticket offers guests the chance to savor all of the award winning wine and food from this year’s Professional Wine and Food Competitions. Each day will offer a slightly new food pairing – so you may find yourself coming back for more.
